Hurdles are everywhere and everyone had encountered many of them throughout their lives. It’s nothing special. It’s just the way life is. There are even different sizes of hurdles. Some are big, some are small.
Some people are stuck at a very small sized hurdle; others need a very big one before they consider to stop. While on the other hand some, I think 2%, no matter how big or small a hurdle is they never stop. They proceed no matter what.
Do you have a dream? Do you have a vision? If it is really your dream or your vision and you really want to have, do, or be it, then no matter how big or small a hurdle is it should NEVER stop you. Every obstacle is there to be overcome.
They are actually only tests. They are there so you prove if that dream or vision is really something you want to accomplish, or is it only something you wish to do, be or have. A real dream will make you stand up at night. A real vision won’t stop you; it will push you more forward to reach it.
There’s an old saying that goes something like this, “When a hurdle comes your way don’t adjust your goals, adjust your action steps.”
Taking action is what overcomes every hurdle. Taking action is what overcomes fear. Taking action is what eliminates doubt. You’ll be doing mistakes along the way and that’s fine. I don’t know of any business that does not make mistakes. People make mistakes; it’s just the way it is.
The good news though is the more mistakes you make, and the more you learn from those, the better you become and the more your business with grow.
Get into the habit of overcoming hurdles by finishing one task every day you really hate doing. These are the kind of tasks that usually push you most forward.
