Aloha,
Occasionally, I get messages from folks complaining they would not have enough time to build a thriving online business. They state if the day would have more than 24 hours (say, 36 or 48) then they would thrive. They then usually continue to say if this or that circumstance would not be present they would certainly be more successful, “but”…
That’s employee thinking.
Of course, if you think of spending 24 of your personal hours then you get something in return for those 24 hours.
And of course, if you would be able to spend 48 hours per day you’d probably get more in return than by 24 hours spent.
As a matter of fact though, you CAN have 48, even a lot more hours per day being spent on your business. You even do not have to do that all on your own. In fact, it’s a very wise move to have other people spend their hours to grow your business.
Don’t believe? Think you can’t delegate? Think your work is too confidential?
Get out of that trap! This is a sure way to build more blocks right in front of you so you’ll never experience the success you wish so badly for yourself. You have to let go of certain tasks in order to discover others are more apt to accomplish it for you. There are tons of people out there willing to do a lot of work for you.
Give them what they want and they’ll be grateful for it; so will your bank account.
Yes, it’s a well-known “secret” (under us successful entrepreneurs) that the less you work on your business and the more you delegate tasks, the more your business will grow and the more profitable it will be.
It sounds strange but I discovered this myself early enough. Today, I personally spend only three hours per week working on my business while I have a whole bunch of tasks delegated to others so they grow my business.
Isn’t that freedom?
Get out of your comfort zone. Look at which of your tasks can be outsourced, then go ahead and hire someone today. Not tomorrow, not next year–TODAY!
Regards,
-Diego
